What is Camp like?

Camping at Quiet Valley Ranch is probably the best way to experience the scenic Hill Country and the magic of the Kerrville Music Camp for Teens. Some of the best music will be heard by our campers and artist instructors at the campgrounds in the evening. Warm showers and clean toilet facilities are located throughout the campgrounds.

The 17th Annual Music Camp for Teens was held at Quiet Valley Ranch July 21-25, 2024 in Kerrville, Texas. A faculty of top music professionals taught and inspired 60 young people ages 13-18 with courses in songwriting, creative writing, music foundation, and performance skills as well as helped campers realize and find their individual voices.

Activities included daily workshops, nightly open mics with group and individual performances, and a canoe trip on the Guadalupe River. Along with the core faculty, there was a team of staff members, including professionals from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bandera County, medical professionals, and a group of dedicated volunteers.

This camp is a highly motivational and safe environment with a special emphasis on encouraging respect for others. Our artist instructor staff in 2024 included Paul Pearcy, Halley Neal, Zach Jewell, George Garza, Sam Paul, Ken Gaines, Bill Oliver and Jena Kirkpatrick.

The Kerrville Music Camp for Teens is a State of Texas licensed youth camp. In order to attend, a camp application must be completed for each camper including a copy of the campers shot records. All volunteers and staff must complete a background check and an Abuse Training Course.
